SINA Hospitality: Winner of Richmond Region Tourism Global Meetings Community Partnership Award

On March 26, 2025, Richmond Region Tourism recognized its 2024 Class of RVA Champions and honored hotel partners in an early celebration of Global Meeting’s Industry Day. Ravi Patel and SINA Hospitality were proud to be honored at this celebration. The RVA Champions program was created to recognize residents who help refer meetings, conventions, trade shows, or sports tournaments to the Richmond Region.

The Community Partnership Award recognizes hotel partners in the Richmond Region that provide exceptional services from the front desk, to the heart of the house, and beyond. Ravi Patel and SINA Hospitality won this award for all of the care and support he and his team give the Richmond community, from support of the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center to sitting on the board of BizWorks. 

As the Co-Founder and CEO, Ravi Patel oversees the family-based culture, strategic planning, and overall operations for all of SINA Hospitality’s properties, which include the Intercontinental, Hilton, Choice, and Marriott brands. Ravi leads all SINA construction projects, hotel development and franchise negotiations, financial and industry interactions and hotel acquisitions.
